Job Purpose:

Serve as the official representative of the Department of Foreign Affairs, managing communications and diplomacy.

Job Description:

1. Public Relations and Diplomacy

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Department of Foreign Affairs and the media, public, and international counterparts.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to convey the nation’s foreign policy and diplomatic initiatives.
  • Represent the department at diplomatic events, conferences, and press briefings.

2. Media Management

  • Oversee media relations, including responding to inquiries, organizing press conferences, and managing official statements.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, both domestic and international.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information related to foreign affairs.

3. Crisis Communication

  • Manage crisis communication and coordinate responses to international incidents or diplomatic challenges.
  • Provide expert guidance and communication support during sensitive diplomatic negotiations.
  • Work with foreign embassies and governments to maintain diplomatic decorum.

4. Policy Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Department of Foreign Affairs on policy development and implementation.
  • Translate diplomatic language and policy into easily understandable terms for the public.
  • Stay informed about international events and developments that may impact foreign affairs.

5. Public Awareness and Education

  • Develop and execute public awareness campaigns to educate citizens about international relations and diplomacy.
  • Organize events and forums to engage the public in discussions on foreign policy.
  • Contribute to the department’s educational initiatives.

Competencies and Requirements:

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, diplomatic communication, or related fields, with a strong track record of effective communication in a diplomatic context.

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Public Relations, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is highly advantageous.

Language Abilities:

Fluency in both English and Chinese is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages, especially those relevant to international diplomacy, is highly desirable.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with communication and public relations software is essential.

Additional Requirements:

1. Eligibility Criteria:

This position is exclusively open to individuals who hold citizenship or membership in one of the following categories:

  • Doggie World Citizen
  • The People’s Soviet State Citizen
  • Members of the United Top Gs

2. Non-Association Policy:

Candidates are strictly prohibited from having any personal or professional relationships with any individuals associated with RSG (Republic of the School of the Nations Supreme Government), including but not limited to familial relationships, close friendships, and professional associations.

3. Detailed Non-Association Clarification:

Candidates must provide a detailed explanation in their application if they have ever had any form of personal or professional contact with individuals who are associated with RSG. This explanation should include the nature of the contact, the duration, and the purpose of the interaction. Failure to provide full disclosure may result in disqualification.

4. Background Verification:

As part of the application process, candidates will be subject to an extensive background check to confirm their eligibility based on the stated criteria. Any information found during this process that indicates a violation of the non-association policy will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Declaration of Non-Association:

All applicants are required to sign a Declaration of Non-Association, affirming that they do not have any existing affiliations with individuals associated with RSG. This declaration is a crucial part of the application process and must be completed accurately.

6. Commitment to National Security:

Successful candidates will be expected to uphold the highest standards of national security and integrity throughout their employment. Any breach of the non-association policy during employment may result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.

7. Confidentiality and Security:

Employees selected for the position will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement to protect sensitive information and uphold the security interests of the Doggie World Government.
